Recently, I went to the small citrus enclave, Ojai, to celebrate my last remaining days as a single lady. To say Ojai was good to myself and my ladies is an understatement. It was the amazing, relaxing weekend that we so desperately needed. Typically, a bride does not prepare or set up the agenda for her bachelorette, but my friends know that I love creating itineraries. If you are looking to enjoy a weekend with your besties among the orange groves, follow along!

AirBnB:
We stayed at the Ojai Pixie Farmhouse! It’s a short drive into town, and beautifully picturesque.

Goodie Bags:
I love a swag bag, almost as much as I love putting it together.
I wanted to create a bag that they could remember the location by. I found this bag in search on etsy, and it was perfect. In retail shops they sell a bag like this for $40 to $50. As a nod to our destination, I created these adorable felt Ojai Pixies to add a bit of extra flair.
Inside the Bag:
Daisy glass tumblr with lid and straw, because these ladies need to stay hydrated.
Copper Cow Salted Caramel Coffee Pour Over, because everyone could use an afternoon pick me up between the sips of wine.
Orange Blossom Candle, I wanted them to have something that they could burn after the trip was over and remember it fondly.
Custom Yoga Mat, these came out so cute!
Orange Blossom Scented Pencils, I kid you not, these are amazing. You don’t have to even use it for a pencil. Just keep it in your drawer and open it when you need an attitude boost.
Custom Sun Hats, because they are affordable, adorable, and also look super chic hanging on your wall.

Crafts:
Citrus Infused Salt, utilizing Ojai Pixies of course!
Flower Crowns, because we had to stand out during Saturday Night Dinner.
Itinerary:
Friday –
The first day is always somewhat wasted by travel. Check-in was not until 3pm, and therefore you spend a good hour unpacking and prepping your outfits. Before the sun goes down, grab some oranges!

For this evening I planned Wine Tasting and Charcuterie, followed by games (my maid of honor had various wedding-themed games planned), but before you have too much wine prep the first craft, Citrus infused Salt. By the time all of this was done we were ready to curl up on the couch with snacks and watch Practical Magic.

Saturday-
I booked a really lovely morning Yoga session with Sam from Light and Space Yoga. Nobody wants to get up the next morning because….wine! There might be grumbles, but trust me, everyone will be really happy afterwards. It had rained the night before, and we rolled out our mats in front of French doors that opened up onto the front garden. The smell of rain, coupled with the relaxation of the session was the absolute best way to start our day.

For breakfast we headed over to Dutchess. They have so many great options to pick from for breakfast. I got the avocado toast with a sticky bun to share. For drinks I opted for the Bloody Mary and a cappuccino.

We spent some time walking around, and perusing the shops immediately nearby. A few that I really enjoy are Fig Curated Living, DeKor, and Noted!
Then we had a wine tasting appointment that afternoon at the Ojai Vineyard. A really beautiful tasting room with tons of character. We each did a flight, and ended up buying a couple bottles. Their Chardonnay is fantastic, none of that oak-ish taste that I can’t stand.

After that we headed across the street to Heavenly Honey Company, a local Ojai honey shop. They also offer tastings. We pulled up a seat at the counter and tried a bunch of their honeys, and came home with a couple jars. They make terrific stocking stuffers or hostess gifts.

We looked around a few more shops, and then headed back to the car. Our last tasting adventure was at Ojai Olive Oil. Tucked away next to the hillsides we found many olive trees, and some of the best olive oil. We tasted lots of their olive oils, and talked to a lovely man who works on the property. We didn’t leave empty handed! If you stop in, definitely try the Ojai Pixie Olive Oil.

We headed back to the farmhouse for a little siesta, and relaxation.
We made flower wreaths for our hair to wear to dinner, because that is my version of the bridesmaid sash. The wreaths were made with mostly filler flowers like eucalyptus and thistle, and then dotted with herbs like lavender and sage.
We had a casual dinner at Ojai Rotie. It has a picnic-like atmosphere, and serves dishes family style. This makes it perfect for larger groups!

Back at the farmhouse we could barely keep our eyes open through Troop Beverly Hills!
Sunday-
I woke up early to have a nice relaxing bath, and used one of these vitamin C sheet masks. Afterwards I began to pick things up, and organize at a leisurely pace.

Went for a walk through the beautiful orchards again.

Then we made a nice big sendoff breakfast!

The perfect way to spend my final days as a single lady, and it would make an excellent Girls Weekend Trip!
